The IRS does not permit anyone from viewing anyone's tax return (including their own) on-line. Even if you go to an accountant or tax preparation place like H%26amp;R Block, they could not get your tax return on-line (unless, of course, you submitted it through them). The only way to get your submitted tax return (and only your return) is to take your photo I.D. and Social Security card to an IRS office and ask them directly.
How do i view online the history of filed U.S. Individual Income Tax Returns?
Do you want to view your own filings?
Reply:If you mean any level of detail like names of who filed, you don't due to privacy considerations.
If you're looking for an overall history of income taxes, here's one brief article: http://www.loc.gov/rr/business/hottopic/...
I'm sure you'd find others if you google "history of income tax"
Reply:Why would you want to invade someone else's privacy?
Reply:You can file your tax return on-line, but I don't think IRS offers an on-line search or history of individual income tax. If you're looking for a history of your own tax returns, you can call your local IRS branch. You will not be able to receive information for someone else.
Take a look at irs.gov
