If I filed my taxes online and then had to file an amended tax form, how will my income tax come back to me?
I messed up filing it online so I had to file an amended form and mail it in. So the IRS corrected it and sent it back to me listing what I had done wrong. Also, I used direct deposit along with the online filing.

You can even put in all your info and see your expected refund before paying for and submitting your information. Last year I did just that but didn't trust it. I spent $120 at H%26amp;R Block and got the EXACT same results for $100 more then TacAct.. This year I will do TaxAct online. Same results but $100 less to file! Also, some local libraries have free tax preperation based on income. Check your local library, town hall, places of worship and post office for this information.

of course I kept playing, and after 14 hours lost what I made (mainly due to some bad beats)
If I tried my hardest and played my best, and had a goal: make 100 dollars a day, and stop; would it be plausable to consider a 700 dollar a week income with this method?

If you're good enough, yes you can, but you have to be VERY good.
Some tips.
Make sure you have enough money in the bank, separate from your bankroll, to cover all of your bills for at least 6 months.
If you're winning, keep playing. If you stop once you get up $100, you're going to be limiting your profits. Income by poker isn't steady enough to do that. If you play 6 days (you need at least one day off every week) your daily profits might go like this:
Mon:+150
Tues:+30
Wed:-50
Thurs:+220
Fri:-10
Sat:+120
If you stopped at $100 profit for the day, you cost yourself $190 for the week.
Don't play just on-line. Get to a live cash game where you can make some money too.
BE CAREFUL OF COLLUSION. Sometimes there will be 4 guys in a room on laptops playing at the same table. If you think this is happening, get out of the room ASAP and e-mail the site about it with the player's IDs and the table number.
Never invest more than 10% of your bankroll at a time.
Read every poker book you can get your hands on. Start with Super System 1 and 2, Mike Caro's Big Book of Tells, and The Zen of Poker, and join a good on-line poker forum to talk about hands you played.

Reply:If you gotta ask, than no. People who can make a living playing poker online already know, and have been. People don't plan to be poker pros, it just happens. You play and find that you're winning too much to justify not playing for a living. So you quit your real job.

I was playing online yesterday, and won 180 bucks in 2 hours.
of course I kept playing, and after 14 hours lost what I made (mainly due to some bad beats)
If I tried my hardest and played my best, and had a goal: make 100 dollars a day, and stop; would it be plausable to consider a 700 dollar a week income with this method?

Some tips.
Make sure you have enough money in the bank, separate from your bankroll, to cover all of your bills for at least 6 months.
If you're winning, keep playing. If you stop once you get up $100, you're going to be limiting your profits. Income by poker isn't steady enough to do that. If you play 6 days (you need at least one day off every week) your daily profits might go like this:
Mon:+150
Tues:+30
Wed:-50

Sat:+120
If you stopped at $100 profit for the day, you cost yourself $190 for the week.
Don't play just on-line. Get to a live cash game where you can make some money too.
BE CAREFUL OF COLLUSION. Sometimes there will be 4 guys in a room on laptops playing at the same table. If you think this is happening, get out of the room ASAP and e-mail the site about it with the player's IDs and the table number.
Never invest more than 10% of your bankroll at a time.
Read every poker book you can get your hands on. Start with Super System 1 and 2, Mike Caro's Big Book of Tells, and The Zen of Poker, and join a good on-line poker forum to talk about hands you played.
Learn how to play more than just one or two games. Top players can play many games well.
And if you lost most of your profits back, it was likely due more to bad beats. You have to learn how to manage your money.

Go to www.mi.gov, and then to Department of the Treasury. They have a list of companies that will do free Michigan Income Taxes. You may have to do a search on the treasury site for free e-file companies...

I see a lot of people asking questions on survey oppotunities. I want you to understand that survey's require a lot of time, and you won't get rich. A few friends of mine put a bunch of survey's sites to a test to see if they really work.(14 a peice including the ones you had to pay to get into.) We spent six months on these sites. They're not anything what people say they are. They are fun and you do receive free items. They're not "scams" but I just want you to know that there's more to them then what your being led to beleive.
You can make some money, however the time required in doing survey's is more then you think when you add it all together. Plan on spending 8 to 10 hours a day and average out at minimum wage. Sometimes you will hit good surveys that will pay you a lot, but what's required to get that is a lot too.
Here's how the survey's work. You have to spend aprox 10 to 15 minutes per each site to register. (this is non paid) Then you'll start receiving emails for surveys. Each survey you have to complete a 15 to 20 minute pre-qualifying survey. (you dont get paid for this) Then if you do qualify for a survey (which majority of the ones you don't qualify for. so you've wasted this non paid time.) Then if you don't qualify for one, they offer another and you have to do the same thing, and the same thing happens.) You waste approx 45 minutes to an hour until you finally qualify for a survey. You take a 30 to 45 minute survey and make under $10. Normally it's $1 to $3 a survey that they claim takes 15 minutes. That's not including the 15 minute prequalifying survey. So you've now spent thirty minutes and made $3. And the process between each of the survey sites is the same. So you can pretty much do the math. It averages out to be between $2 to $6 an hour. Sometimes you do come across a survey that will pay you $25 to $75 a survey. Here's how they work. It could be a telephone survey or a internet survey. You get the prequalifying part of 10 to 20 minutes then if you qualify for it another small survey about the product your about to try to see if you qualify to try it. When you qualify for it, they send you a product out to try for 7 to 10 days and you do some daily documentations on it. Depending on what the product is and the documentations it's usually 2 - 15 minutes (you got a free product to use around the house, this is a good part of it) after trying the product out you have to complete another survey that takes between 15 to 30 minutes to do. Now you do the calculations on that. You don't get as many of these types of survey's. They use the hype on getting paid $25 to $75 dollars for 15 minute surveys. What they don't tell you is that there is more then one survey involved in these. Now calculate from your prequalifying survey to the last survey on these products.
Another way to earn money on survey sites, is to refer people over to the sites. Some survey sites will give you a percentage on what the people you refer buy off the sites as they get a percentage back off of what they buy. It's about 1% or less. You either get a lot of points for this that when you reach a curtain amount of points you can exchange it for cash or prizes. Other survey sites you complete shorter surveys (5 to 15 minutes) and your entered into sweepsteaks or lottery things for prizes or money. There's a lot of other things.
I do survey's because it does help the marketing on different products and they do use the opinions of what things look like and what not. So I do it for the principle of the matter. I also have my daughter to do survey's to earn her own money and teach her that you have to work hard to make money. Not that it's manual labor, but it's work. Time consuming. So doesn't do them a lot now, she'd rather do chores. LOL Which is fine with me! She does the ones where you get the products to try.

You may get lucky and get more higher paid ones. but if your doing this to make a living off of, you will be disappointed. But just for some extra cash, it's a good source.

Most home based business cost under $500 to start. They have the same income opportunity as traditional businesses without alot of over head expenses and they are easier to run.

Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.
Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

Most of the sites you will find online are scams.
There are even sites out there that do pay you and are still scams.
For example:
Cash Crate - I don't care what anyone says, this is a scam.
They pay you to sign up and give away your personal info, sign up for credit cards, and click on links.
They will pay you for this, but you will be flooded with junkmail and spam, and they are making way more money off of each of your clicks than you are.
Avoid it and any other site like it.
Legitimate survey sites are run by market research companies. They have privacy policies, and do not sell your personal info or have you sign up for crap.

I have some free survey sites that are very reliable just check out my profile by clicking my name or email me for them. I only give sites that I've been paid by so you won't get scammed. They're all reliable and I've never had a problem with them. (I've been doing them for a year now) The best part is that anyone can do them and they're easy. You won't get rich but they definitely help with bills :)

Most of the sites you will find online are scams.
There are even sites out there that do pay you and are still scams.
For example:
Cash Crate - I don't care what anyone says, this is a scam.
They pay you to sign up and give away your personal info, sign up for credit cards, and click on links.
They will pay you for this, but you will be flooded with junkmail and spam, and they are making way more money off of each of your clicks than you are.
Avoid it and any other site like it.
Legitimate survey sites are run by market research companies. They have privacy policies, and do not sell your personal info or have you sign up for crap.

A more likely scenario is something that the big guys don't do - maybe you can have people send in pictures of their dogs and you re-create them on silkscreen and make ties or scarves, or something that differentiates you.
If you just want to be a me-too, set up a wholesale business and try to sell on ebay (although fees are eating many retailers alive there), that's a possibility, see what the prices /shipping is before you place your order through the wholesalers.
I have a side business that I run on the internet - I raise exotic animals and sell them and their end products - I am moderately successful, but have 6 figures into the business, my ROI is decent but I still have my day job.

Even if you don't know how to do a web site, you can buy basic templates where you just input info for say $50, you can find someone local to build you a simple one where you just input the cars for around $750.
Or what I am about to do is alter their site to a blog, so its even easier to post the cars. Plus a blog is free web space, free upload service, free postings on search engines, etc.
For this bit of work, about 3.5 hrs a week on my half, I get paid $350 a wk under the table.
