Where can I find a legit online job that makes a steady income?

All I have found are scams, and I'm looking for a work at home job for myself and a relative because one of us has become disabled, and the checks aren't enough. Is their a way to get a STEADY income, not just a little bit at a time like with Surveying and things like it? I know it sounds a bit too good to be true, but I have to ask to progress.

My mother had problems with finding things like that as well, she has disabling problems. Most of the things we found online were either scams or payed too little for hidden requirements just like you mentioned.
