How can I file my personal income taxes online without paying no one to do it for me? Any websites?
I think the phrase is " any one or anyone " not " no one ". You can buy a tax program that can be installed into your computer and it will all be laid out there on what to do to file. Check Staples or some good book store.
Reply:If your income is under $39,000, you can have your taxes done at no charge by VITA trained volunteers, and most sites will file online. Go to irs.gov, and enter "VITA" in the search box, to find a site near you.
Reply:IRS.gov has a Free File Alliance that offers free tax preparation and e-filing. H %26amp; R Block and Turbo Tax are just two of the partners in the FFA.

The services will not charge you to prepare/file your federal return but it'll cost extra to file your state. You have the option of only filing your federal.

If it's available, go to your state's department of revenue and file your state return from there.

Now you've done both for free.
Reply:The best thing to do if you want to save money filing your taxes is to buy a program like TurboTax, you can do all the work yourself at home then send the documents to the IRS via E-mail. The only charge you should have to pay is an online processing fee.(and the cost of the program of course, but that is still cheaper than paying some place like H%26amp;R Block)
Reply:turbo tax.com or go to irs.gov and theyll help out with good sites.

Does anyone make a steady income online?

Do you know of any legitimate ways to make money online? Thanks.
Does anyone make a steady income online?
Just remember that the only way to make money is by providing people with a product or service that is needed and useful. Find out what people need and look for ways to fulfill their needs. This can be done on and offline.

How can i find out who put me on their income taxs online?

Someone put me on their income tax but i dont know who and i would like to find out!
How can i find out who put me on their income taxs online?
u can't...all u knows is that someone put u on their return....that means less money for u on ur own return...

if u try to be slick, that means a couple of years in federal prison

in that case, ur momma can't use you...if she does...she can't claim u for at least 2 more years AND if it was intentional...10 years PLUS prison time
Reply:You probably won't be able to find out, but you need to call the IRS and your state and local tax department before it goes any further.

If they have already claimed you, then you are going to have big problems with filing your taxes.
Reply:You won't find out.

File your tax return correctly, even if you have to file by mail.

Then tell MOM to file by mail (assuming she is entitled to claim you). The IRS computer will automatically pick up on the duplicate use and start the investigation process.

Just filled out my state income tax online, must have made a mistake somewhere?

It says I owe $523, but last year, with the same job, no changes in my tax withholding form or wages, I received a refund for over $200. I haven't authorized it yet, does anybody know where I could have filled in wrong to make it show such a big change?
Just filled out my state income tax online, must have made a mistake somewhere?
Did you get a pay raise or make more money that may have pushed you into another tax bracket? Did you remember to take all of your personal deductions? Did your state up its tax rate? If you have last years tax paperwork, I would get that out and go line by line and double check and see if you are missing anything. If you can't find it, then I would suggest taking it to a tax preparer.
Reply:The Poor get poorer!

The Rich get Richer!

"WE" middle class, will always pay!

Makes "U" want to something, "illegal", on the side!

Doesn't it?
Reply:Go back and double check everything. If your result still doesnt change, then speak to a professional.

Also, try to think of anything that makes this year different. Are you filing together with a spouse? Did their job change?
Reply:Lay last years and this years side by side, and see what changed a lot.

Do you have to pay taxes for income from online job ?

Like if I am a student staying in USA to study , and I get income from a job I do online , income paid to my account accessible from USA , do I have to report that income ?

If I have income from my home country (say , from rent ) do I have to report that to ?
Do you have to pay taxes for income from online job ?
Yes, you do have to pay income taxes. Any income that the IRS does not exempt from taxation generated in the United States is taxable.

If you are a foreign student you should apply for a Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) from the IRS. It will only be valid for tax purposes and will allow you to file a tax return.

The form you fill out for this is a W-7. Then you should file a tax return like all other calendar year taxpayers by April 15th.

You may be able to deduct certain expenses related with the operation as well if this is a self employment type position. However, I would consult an accountant or tax professional for guidance related to that.
Reply:Technically there is not a single law or statute that says ANYONE has to pay income taxes. If anyone disagrees with me please show me something that says we are legally required to pay taxes.
Reply:I'm quite sure
Reply:You only have to pay taxes if you exceed income of over $600 a year on online income, it don't matter that your from a different country, you are at this time living here, be on a green card or what ever, that does not exemptt you from having to pay any taxes! Your here and making an income! wheither a outside world job or internet business, if you make more then $600 in any give year you are liable for the taxes on the over exceeded amount!

But if your just here to go to college, you may be able to have your income be put into your bank account in your own county and not having to claim it on taxes! but you would have to clear that with your own country bank account!

It would be better to find out from a tax prepayer or better business bureau, or the IRS themselves!

And for cw1242 , I guess you have never heard of tax invasion and what kind of a huge mess it can make with your life! Tax invasion is refusing to claim any imcome for tax purposes, But if you work some where! Your employer turns in all wages paid to you to the Internal revenue service, and when you don't pay the taxes the IRS will be knocking at your door to take your home, car and anything else you own to pay for your back taxes, and then if it wasn't enough to pay your back taxes you get to go to federal prison and maybe for a long time! so don't tell people they don't have to pay taxes! If you think I'm lieing, go ahead and don't pay taxes, but you'll be a very sorry person when the IRS is knocking at your door!
Reply:Of course it's taxable. All income from all sources is taxable unless explicity excluded by law. On line income is no different from any other source. But you have more important issues to address.

Since you are a student, you are not allowed to work in the US, either for an employer or as self-employed unless approved by the USCIS and State Department. By doing so you risk your visa and could be deported in the worst case. As a student, income from your home country is not taxable in the US as it would be if you were an immigrant or resident alien. By working in the US illegally you risk having the IRS treat you as a permanent resident for tax purposes and levying tax on your world-wide income. That's the "best case" scenario.

Please ignore the idiot using the handle "cw1242." His advice will get you tossed in prison. Unfortunately we have our share of fools in the US, just like any country does. He's obviously one of them.

Sigh... And "Mr Answer's" response isn't much better. Not sure where he pulled that $600 number from, but it's not based in any reality either. Tax invasion! Really now!

How good and true is the SFI eezeemoney online income opportunity? Any triers?

It's a scam.... they get your bank info and clean out your account. Stay away from all get rich quick scams. You should beable to smell them a mile away.

Could I do my state income tax online and be able to get it direct deposited into my bank acount?

I know it's a little late, it's november but could I do an e-file and get my state income tax?
Could I do my state income tax online and be able to get it direct deposited into my bank acount?
Yes. I live in Maryland, and that is the way that I do my state taxes.. One year, I had to file for an extension, and I was still able to do everything online. And get my money direct deposit within 2 business days....

Check with your state comptroller website to see if this option is available in your state.
Reply:Go now to your state department of revenue website and see. I just checked my state and I would be able to file for 2006 online and direct deposit my refund.
Reply:Check your state website - some allow this, some don't. As late as it is, your chances are slim, but check anyway.
Reply:I think so. Not sure though. Check H%26amp;R Blocks web site.
